Nicole Nyaba was thrust into the spotlight when it was alleged that the video vixen was having an affair with AKA while he was still with Bonang Matheba. Shortly after the rumours gained traction, the 26-year-old went on a media tour to set the record straight.
In an interview on Trending SA, the starlet cleared the rumours after she was spotted posing next to AKA's car: “First of all, I was not AKA’s side chick, I was not the main, I was nothing to him, unfortunately, I didn’t know what Kiernan’s car would look like...to be honest with the whole of SA, I really didn’t know that was his car, I only found out afterwards when everyone was making a fuss about it. I had never been in that car,” she said at the time.
Months after the interview, there have been many social media posts made using Nicole's name and the controversial starlet is distancing herself from those posts - claiming that someone created a fake account using her name.
Taking to her Instagram, Nicole warned her fans not to believe any posts they see that are not from her official page:
"@nicole_nyaba is my real account!!! all that other kak is to confuse you all. i'm not the one to make stupid, dumb and uneducated statements," she wrote in part. Take a look at the post below:
The media personality is not done clearing her name, taking to Instagram, she shared a screenshot of an email Twitter sent alerting her that her fake account had been taken down:
"GOD IS MY SAVIOR🚀 FOR THE WHOLE OF 2018 SOUTH AFRICA HAD A WRONG PERCEPTION OF WHO I AM... I TRIED TO WARN EVERYONE BUT NO ONE BELIEVED ME AND NOW I AM LIBERATED. thank you @twitter."
