Ntsiki Mazwai has made it her signature on social media to create “thought-provoking” content via her Twitter. While she might consider it “thought-provoking,” from the outsider looking in, some of her tweets can be misconstrued to be clout chasing.

A matter that with the news of AKA’s passing, it seemed that Ntsiki was not interested in riding the wave of “feminists” who used his passing as a stance to advocate for gender-based violence, but Ntsiki has since proven this narrative wrong.
This is as the likes of advocacy groups like Women For Change and Twitter accounts like Nampree had not wasted time in asserting that they did not mourn the death of AKA. Instead, they suggestively alluded to being relieved at the passing of the rapper as it meant that there was one less “abuser” living.
Primarily, this had to do with the events that led to the now-confirmed by-law suicide of Anele “Nellie” Tembe. This is as Nellie and AKA’s relationship was toxic at best, and abusive at worst according to reports. But while Ntsiki maintained her silence initially, it seems that with fewer trending topics on Twitter, she has finally joined trolling AKA.
Ntsiki joins AKA trolls
Taking to Twitter, Ntsiki seemed to suggest that AKA’s passing was Nellie’s doing from beyond the grave. This is as she suggested that the law failed to prosecute AKA for Nellie’s passing as she allegedly jumped from a hotel balcony in Cape Town back in 2021.
At the time, there were reports that before her untimely passing, staffers at the hotel had heard shouting coming from the room with AKA and Nellie being the only two in the room at the time.
However, when Ntsiki shared her polarising tweet, AKA’s fans and social media users who thought the tweet was tasteless voiced their opinions. In response, Ntsiki seemed to suggest that the public was twirling for AKA because he was famous.
Moreover, when it was suggested that a similar stance could be taken when news of her passing is announced in the future, Ntsiki laughed it off suggesting that she does not care if her controversial and partly attention-seeking habits on social media are what she is most remembered for.
But a tweet that was below the belt given the current situation was when Ntsiki continued to bring up the allegations of AKA being a drug addict. While she did not mention names, it was clear who she was referring to.
Ntsiki avoiding using names is a matter she has found out the hard way what happens when you tweet recklessly with your full chest. This is as she has had to pay DJ Fresh, and allegedly is still in the process of paying Euphonik.
When DJ Fresh guest hosted Podcast and Chill this past Monday, 30 January 2023, he provided an update on the legal proceedings by confirming that the matter was closed. Moreover, DJ Fresh confirmed they had the case and Mazwai and Lebyane were liable to pay for his and Euphonik’s legal fees after losing the court case.
