It seems many social media commentators spoke too soon over their criticism of Basetsana Kumalo after an old clip of an interview with Zozibini went viral

Tweeps jumped on the bandwagon of blasting Bassie and accusing her of being 'condescending' and 'rude' to Zozi, who at the time was a contestant on Presenter Search on 3.

But it all turned out to be one big misunderstanding and it seems the clip was completely taken out of context.

Shortly after the video went viral, Basetsana set the record straight on the fact that she was instructed to deliberately put Zozi under pressure to test her interviewing skills.

Unknowingly, Ntsiki Mazwai was one of those tweeps who railed Bassie over the coals for her attitude towards Zozi.

She tweeted in response to the clip: "THIS ATTITUDE HERE.....is why Basetsana Khumalo lost me LONG AGO!!!!!!!! She has changed so much. Well I'm sure now she remembers Zozi's name. Bloody hater"

With everything that has come to light, tweeps are now demanding Ntsiki issues an apology to Bassie for her comments. They've accused Ntsiki, and others, of starting a 'cyber attack' on Bassie and therefore want her to take back her words.

But Ntsiki is not hearing anything and is standing by what she said.

"This is rubbish. Everybody responds to what they perceive- that video didn't have a disclaimer saying it's not real," she tweeted in response to the controversy.

She also tweeted several clapbacks to fans who demanded she apologises.

Should Ntsiki apologise for her tweets? Or is she justified to her own opinion?
