Serious eye infection strikes Pearl Modiadie

Oh no, Pearl Modiadie has a serious eye infection!

This has resulted in the Zaziwa host's absence from her Metro FM show, which she co-hosts with Amon Mokoena.

Pearl, who recently had a lovely vacation with her man in Dubai and Italy, took to Instagram to share the news with her fans. She also posted a picture of her eyes and how her condition has worsened.

 

I have not been on radio all week this week because of a bacterial eye infection. It's called conjunctivitis or pink-eye... Since it is contagious, prevention of spread is very important so I've had to stay home or wear sunglasses whenever I'm in close proximity with people. It has since gotten worse (pic 2) from the last time (pic 1) so I'm seeing an eye specialist today. In case you were wondering why I haven't been on radio... ;) . I'll be better soon, hoping all goes well with the specialist today.
