One of the most outspoken celebrities in the country Penny Lebyane has slammed ANC MP Boy Mamabolo for his attention-seeking stunt he pulled up in parliament during the State Of The Nation Address (SONA) sitting. The politician is embroiled in a scandal about gender-based violence and Parliamentary conduct. This comes after he accused EFF president Julius Malema of spousal abuse in parliament.
Mamabolo said Malema is abusive towards his wife. The ANC MP stuck to his guns and refused to apologize to Julius Malema and said they will meet in court. This escalated to a point where Julius Malema's wife Mantoa filed a lawsuit of defamation of character against him and demanded R1 million.
But on Friday Boy retracted his comments and issued an apology, however media personality Penny Lebyane is not impressed by his behavior. In fact, Penny has slammed both Malema and Mamabolo, she said the two behaved childishly.
In a series of tweets, Penny said "Both couldn’t rise above their petty boyish nonsense. Boy started it, Sello validated it then dragged the president in the mud unnecessarily. Black men failing to rise to leadership putting sideshows for white people to disrespect us further." said Penny
Penny further said Boy must issue an apology to women in the country for using serious issues for his stunts in parliament.
