Whilst many of the other stars shared their dance moves as part of the campaign, Kamo’s blooper appeared to grab the attention of Tweeps. As she strutted down the stairs, Kamo gave the most as she must a move using all of her signature tricks. However, as she broke it down, the deodorant had slipped through the packaging, leaving her to continue dancing without it. Many could not get of the fact that she was unfazed by what had occurred, and she continued to move despite the blunder.
Tweeps were beside themselves in laughter, as they believed that she had brought attention to the poor packaging of the brand, rather than the actual content. Kamo didn’t directly address the subject on social media, however, after trending for most of the day, she retweeted a fan who made mention of it. The fan stated, “oksalayo Kamo Mphela is trending and now we all know about shield.” She has a point!
oksalayo Kamo Mphela is trending 😂🤷🏽♀️and now we all know about shield
Kamo Mphela could’ve shot the first take of the video getting the Zlele dance move wrong, then she applies shield and then BOOM, she gets the dance right and adds her own flair because shield has that “extra thing”. Obviously the transition would be edited to fit. 🤷🏾♂️
Earlier this month, Bontle Modiselle also gained traction for her role in the campaign, however she appeared to garner attention for all the right reasons. Bontle showed off a freestyle to Master KG’s worldwide hit single, Jerusalema, as she took her own spin on the dance challenge. She stated, “Great News!!! I’ve partnered up with @shieldza for the #MoveMoreAtHome campaign. Celebrating to the biggest dance challenge in the world right now. Summer bodies are loading...it’s time to level up. Ready or not, let’s dance!”.
Friends and fans we left in awe as she showed off her banging body with her experienced dance moves. Keona Jordaan commented with, “Everyone was following step so mooi and mama Moloi had to take things to extreme levels.”, whilst Musa added, “Is this the new Jerusalema challenge because I can’t do it like that.”
