Actress Rami Chuene was a fan favourite of her character T-Gom on Mzansi Magic's television show, The Queen. But, she wasn't nominated for the role by the SAFTA's and kind of feels a way about it.

Rami Chuene  was overlooked for any of the awards up for grabs at the upcoming SA Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) and it rubbed both Rami and her fans the wrong way.

Her supporters felt that the actress was snubbed and should have been celebrated with a nomination for her role of T-Gom in The Queen

Rami, however, has since left the show under a dark cloud of controversy - it is claimed she was fired for supporting fellow actress Vatiswa Ndara. But because Rami nor the Fergusons have made her leaving clear to the audience- the rumors will just remain rumours.

But the actress has remained super professional and Rami has chosen to take the high road and not to seem resentful towards the Fergusons or to the SAFTAs. She instead chose to cast a light on the way that actors are submitted for consideration for awards at the SAFTAs and recommend a change in the nomination process in the future.

She cracked a joke - perhaps to show that she's not that upset about the snub.

We love that Rami had remained cool, calm and professional throughout her ordeal with the Fergusons and now with the SAFTA's.

Some of us could learn a thing or two from her but our range is not extensive as her acting career, so we'll just sit here and watch.
