Commenting on Zakes post, Nandi revealed that they met 10 years ago on her birthday and that turned out to be her best birthday present ever.

After the historic night at the Grammys, Nandi sent him a big shoutout. The Imali hitmaker won a Grammy alongside Nomcebo Zikode, and Wouter Kellerman who bagged his second Grammy with Bayethe which won Best Global Music Performance.

Nandi Madida noted that Zakes Bantwini lost his father last month, stating that it was a very difficult period for him. His winning the Grammy was proof that he had gained a very powerful ancestor, following his victorious win at the 65th Grammy Awards.
Commenting on his post which celebrated his win, Nandi Madida said, "Your dad is definitely smiling in heaven! Congrats my love. A whole Grammy winner. Dreams delayed, are not dreams denied."
In a separate post, Nandi gushed over her husband and said, "As some of you may know @zakesbantwini sadly lost his father last month.
