Remember when Tbo Touch said he had Robert Marawa's Touch Central contract in his car? Well it looks like Touch may now put that contract into good use.
The SABC released a statement this afternoon confirming the news Robert Marawa was no longer a part of the state broadcaster.
"The SABC would like to announce that it has parted ways with sports presenter Mr Robert Marwa. SABC Sport has accepted his decision to repudiate his contract with the SABC, which he entered into with SABC Sport on Jun 6 2017. The SABC engaged Mr Marawa several times to try to remedy the situation.
In June, avid listeners of Robert Marawa's show were not impressed with the after he decided to take a sabbatical in solidarity with his show's producers.
Robert Marawa's departure from Metro FM comes a months after the trail of resignations from the likes of Unathi and Bonang.
