Shoki proved her versatility by dipping her fingers in films such as, Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, Nothing for Mahala and Afrikaans film, Sink, whereby she scooped the prestigious SAFTA award earlier in 2017 for best actress, she also went on to win the best actress award at the KykNet Silwerskerm Film Festival. The multitalented actress has also tasted international success with roles on American drama series, The Looming Tower on Amazon Prime Video.
