Media personality Scoop Makhathini has shared his thoughts about Cassper Nyovest's s move to Amapiano.
Expressing himself on his YouTube Pop Cast, Scoop said he was not trying to paint Cassper in a bad light but he feels that Cassper has destroyed the Hip-Hop genre.

He said there is so much wrong with Cassper but he can not be "human enough" to see it.

Scoop said: "I do have a problem with the way Cassper has done what he has done...This is not me fighting and this is not me trying to paint him in a bad light, this is not me fighting or trying to paint him in a bad light ...

"He always talks about what's wrong with hip-hop ... he's also one of the forerunners of hip-hop, there has been a lot wrong with him too and he can't be human enough to see that but he always talks what's wrong with everybody else but there's so much wrong with him and the way he conducts himself in the space of hip-hop.”

He added that Cassper has gotten what he needed from hip-hop, now he is turning his back from it.

"...and then when all that happens it's like you know what I have destroyed this genre now, I have made this genre to be something that it wasn't when I got into it. Now I got my money from it, I got to the top of the hill now I will shun it and destroy the fire out of  it and leave," added Scoop.

Cassper has received a lot of backlash since his jump to the Amapiano genre.

Reacting to the hate on Twitter, Cassper wrote: "They always criticize in the beginning but they always follow.”

He Tweeted: "They aren't gonna say sh*t. It's not what you're doing, it's who is doing it. The truth is I am the pulse. I am soo connected 2 da culture that I can't set a foot wrong. They always criticize in the beginning but they ALWAYS FOLLOW. It doesn't matter no more doe, it's adapt or die.”
In his previous tweets, Cassper has made it clear that he is enjoying doing Amapiano music. His popular Amapiano hit 'Siyathandana' is currently the most played song in the country.

“Come to piano boys! It's nice here! The music speaks for itself. If it's hot it sells, if it's not it doesn't. No politics can stop a hot song. The people decide. Just make Amapiano, you'll thank me later!!!" he tweeted.
