Off-screen drama is quite a thing in the world of television. Whilst some are able to simply let the drama dry up without clearing any rumours, others will always tell their side of the story at any given opportunity.
Not too long ago, drama was brewing at the Idols headquarters. The main players in the plot included the recently eliminated Viggy and Virginia Qwabe and Snenhlanhla Sneziey Msomi, who is still in the running for the winners title on this year's season.
The rumour mill was filled with allegations that Sneziey, was the reason behind the sudden exit of Viggy Qwabe. This was after the elimination of Virginia.
It was reported that Sneziey made remarks that the Qwabe twins resembled men, which allegedly led to a physical altercation between the three parties.
In a recent interview with City Press, Sneziey shared her side of the story. The 25-year-old stated that she had no recollection of bullying the twins and that her health has taken a knock from the drama.
"As painful as it has been, I pray that one day South Africa will realise that they hated me for doing absolutely nothing. The only thing I’ve done is sing. If that is bullying then I’m not going to apologise for it.
It’s been really hard but prayer has been pushing me and I don’t hate the twins, I just pray that one day they will be able to stand their ground and tell the truth."
In a statement released by Mzansi Magic at the time, the channel confirmed that there were no bullying incidents that took place between Sneziey and the twins.
It seems, there is more to this story than meets the eye. As Sneziey stated, hopefully the twins will tell the truth one day.
