Terry Pheto is on everyone's mind lately, not because of her astonishing looks but because of her work as an actress, and of course, her magazine covers are always worth going gaga over. The star is shining on Bona magazine, but sadly it came right after her dad's burial.
It was just yesterday when we included the March issue of Bona magazine with Terry Pheto on the cover as one of our favorites for the month of March and today the actress revealed that she shot the Bona cover two days after laying her dad to rest.
"They say true strength is smiling when you want to cry, laughing to hide the pain, and going on, no matter what..." captioned the Tsotsi star.
They say True Strength is smiling when you want to cry, laughing to hide the pain, and going on, no matter what... I shot this @bona_mag cover two days after we laid my dad to rest. The lump in my throat made it almost impossible to smile but I chose to remember the funny moments I had with my dad and I "laughed my pain away" for a moment... I knew I had to be present for this moment. All of me, broken as I was. For that, I'm truly grateful. My point is: it doesn't matter how hard life can be, always find a moment to smile and give thanks. Thank you @bona_mag for the opportunity to grace your cover once again. 💖🎀 Photographer: @justin_dingwall Stylist: @kwenasays Make: @vuyovaroy Hair: @bonolo_stylist
