Thandiswa Mazwai makes anonymous troll come correct

Although the internet has given people access to immeasurable amounts of information, it has also afforded them anonymity and the two things do not always come together for the betterment of society.

We were reminded about this earlier today when musician, Thandiswa Mazwai kindly asked a follower to refrain from using her to bash other women and their choices.

In a tweet to Mazwai, the anonymous user stated that he missed Brenda Fassie and her ability to "uplift the masses" and implied that modern artists only emulated her dress sense and not her abilities as an entertainer.

Mazwai also asked him what he is doing to "uplift the masses" and whether or not he has questioned his contribution to society.

Check out the exchange below which ends in him apologizing for what he did.

Her followers went on to laud her for her response and question the troll for his stance.
