In February rumours of Thuli ran amok after it was alleged that she had been fired from Generations The Legacy alongside actress Andisiwe.
Generations Executive producer - Mfundi Vundla went on to explain that he did not fire the two actresses but had just decided to write their characters out of the soapies storyline.
Since leaving the soapie, Thuli has remained silent about her departure from the show which has lead the public to wonder if there is any bad blood between her and the creators of Generations. However, she recently opened up to Move magazine to clear the air.
"I believe I have served my time on the show and it's now time to move on. Nothing bad is going on between me and the production company because I wasn't even limited as an actress."
Thuli explained that she wants to shift her focus on other things and learn from the new opportunities that present themselves to her.
She's also thanked her fans for their unwavering support through the good and bad times.
"I want to let my fans know that I am very honoured by their support over the years and I am what I am today because of them. They should be on the look-out for what I have in store."
Apart from acting, Thuli is also pushing her hustle as a DJ and was appointed as the ambassador for shoe brand - Footwork.
