In 2022, comedian and former reality star, Mongezi “Tol A$$ Mo” Ngobodwane was finally able to return to doing what he loves best, comedy. This comes after his career was all but blackballed for three years. This was due to the allegations of rape that were levelled against him by model Lerato Moloi.

With the case allegedly thrown out due to a lack of evidence. Mo returned with a vengeance directed towards Moloi, and any other woman, activist or organisation which continued to believe the allegations levelled against him.

As such, as he continues to not only proclaim his own innocence but advocating for men who have been falsely accused and the implications thereof, Mo has confirmed starting an initiative in the same vein.

Toll A$$ starts organisation for falsely accused men

Taking to social media, earlier this month, Tol A$$ Mo first stated that he would share the official statement which resulted in Lerato Moloi’s case being thrown out. This comes off the back of the suggestions that her case was thrown out due to a lack of evidence versus what Mo has suggested as the judge labelling Moloi as a “dishonest and unreliable witness.”
Whether this happened or not is unclear as he did not save the live session for his followers and the public to watch afterwards. Instead, he took to his social media to affirm that he and partner, Mike Bolhuis, who is a legal representative, have started an organisation to help falsely accused men.
Currently, it seems that the organisation is run through the shared email. However, Mo did confirm that there are plans underway to formalise the organisation as the official website is set to launch later this year in February 2023.
As such, it is important to look back at the incident that started this trajectory for the comedian. More so considering just how much he has been labelled as aggressive and angry following his vindication on the allegations of rape against Moloi.

Model Arrested Over Allegations Against Tall Ass Mo

Model Lerato Moloi has allegedly been arrested for being in contempt of court for refusing to take down a tweet from 2014, accusing comedian Tol Ass Mo of sexual harassment.

The model is refusing to back down without the law doing right by her and wants justice to be served.

The comedian is denying these claims and had ordered Lerato to remove the tweet within 24-hours from the moment the order was handed to her.

According to Okmzansi, the model appeared at the Vereeniging Magistrate’s Court on July 1st.

She has since tweeted that she is not shaken by the drama that is happening as she wants justice to prevail and for Tall Ass Mo to pay for allegedly raping her.

"Moment’s ago, I’ve just signed for & received the lawyer’s letters of demand, interim protection order; etc, from the man that raped me in 2014. I am still not afraid! I will not go silent," she tweeted.

Refuting these allegations, Tall Ass Mo says these claims are damning as he is trying to teach his son to respect women.

"I hope all those who are falsely accused get justice. Living with insults is heartbreaking," he said.

Social media stands with Lerato saying they believe her and hope that she gets justice.
