Comedian and reality TV star Mongezi Mahlangu also known as Toll Ass Mo has reportedly been acquitted of rape charges after a lengthy case.

According to a statement shared by blogger Musa Khawula from the Specialized Security Services, the rape charges levelled against the comedian by model Lerato Moloi, have been dropped.
"Mr Mahlangu has been fully acquitted," read part of the statement.
The statement further says "As representative of Mr and Mrs Mahlangu and family, we are dedicated to taking this case further: drastic steps will be taken against the accuser."
Khawula further reported "Toll A$$ Mo to file charges of slander, defamation of character as well as civil charges with regards to total legal costs incurred and comprehensive loss of income suffered against Lerato Moloi who falsely accused of raping him in March 202."Lerato made shocking allegations against Toll Ass Mo in 2014, after she accused him of rape and sexual assault. She claimed the incident took place while the two were working on a production together.
Through her lawyers, Lerato said that she would not be silenced.

“For many years, I have been battling to find the courage and support to speak up against a number of acts of violence which have happened to me.
“In 2014, I was sexually assaulted and raped by Mongezi 'Toll Ass Mo' Mahlangu while working on a television production in Paarl, Western Cape.
“For numerous reasons, I did not open a case at the time and only shared this experience with one of the other participants on the show”, she said in the statement.

In the statement, she said: "In the past two month’s I have been served with letters from his attorneys to remove my tweets.

“A protection order was then applied for against me along with an interim order demanding that I delete my tweets and effectively attempting to silence me just after I found my voice to speak about my experiences.
“This culminated in an arrest warrant being issued against me and my subsequent imprisonment."
