Comedian, Tumi Morake, took to the timeline to plead with men to do better after having to go visit her sister in hospital after she had been abused by her significant other in front of her small children.
Morake expressed her pain at the situation and said she would not call men trash and she instead pleaded with them to do better.
I am in the East Rand at a hospital as my sister is being treated for burn wounds after having her head pounded and thrown on the floor infront of her toddlers. I love her. My heart is bleeding. I won't call men trash, but my God you can do better men. #mencandobetter

Morake, who is a rape survivor went on to state why she chose to express herself on the timeline and asked others to find ways of doing something as well.
I mean I would be such a hypocrite if I dealt with this quietly while watching other women's pain and retweeting and liking. We must save our sisters where we can. Only they can save themselves, but we can extend a hand that says WE ARE HERE. JESUS I AM HURTING FOR HER
