The dust might have settled down but the fight is not over for veteran actress Vatiswa Ndara!

The TV and film starr is still set on fighting for actors and actresses like herself, who are being exploited by media production houses.

Just 3 months after dominating the headlines with a scathing open letter which accused Ferguson Films of exploitation,  Vatiswa has given the fans an update. In her recent tweets she informed us that she still is in contact with sport, arts and culture minister Nathi Mthethwa. Showing no signs of despairing, she sent out an open letter bashing media houses and made mention of Ferguson Films, owned by Connie and Shona Ferguson.

In her latest engagement on the matter, she thanks the minister for his call and further mentions that she looks forward to liaising with the ministry to find a solution on the matter.

She also attempted to describe the extremity of the situation by asking people to imagine what it is like for the cast, crew and actors of their favourite shows, who do not know when their next meal will be.

Her bravery was commended by people from all over the country, as she brought to light some concerning issues that occur behind the scenes.

Her six-page letter alleged serious cases of bullying and exploitation in the industry. After she shared it on social media, some actors and actresses added their own two-cents suggesting that what the actress is saying is indeed true.

Since speaking out, Vatiswa has shared her fears about being blacklisted from the industry as this was also a concern for many social media users.
