The saying 'a rumour travels halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to put on its shoes' has played it's part in the latest incident surrounding Vatiswa Ndara.
The actress has confirmed her departure from SABC 2 soapie Muvhango, and had said it was due to contractual reasons.
Speaking to TshisaLive, the Vatiswa who is at the forefront of a battle between actors and the industry, had falsified claims that she was dismissed from the show for being difficult.
She said that even though the news of her parting ways with the production broke recently, her exit was actually in April. Vatiswa says they had a meeting with the producers in March, where she was told that they will no longer need her. She officially stopped shooting in June, but producers were to pay her right till her contract ends in August.
The actress, who plays Moliehi Zikalala in Muvhango, is well aware of the rumours that are making rounds which claim that she never got along with Dingaan Mokebe kaKhumalo who plays James Motsamai, and that she undermined people's authorities. However, she is untroubled by those.
"If you were to speak to the producers that I worked with and ask them how I'm difficult, I don’t even think even a single person would say a thing," she told TshisaLive.
She further added: "There's rumours that I throw tantrums and I hold up production. There's never been one production that has ever stopped because I was throwing a tantrum."
