Kelly Khumalo, who has been consistently dragged into the debacle, hogged the news headlines once again this past weekend, after News 24 reported that she may be charged with obstructing justice as part of the murder investigation, which may land her in jail.

Kelly is accused of withholding information that might otherwise help close the case. Speaking to Daily Sun, Senzo Meyiwa's brother Sfiso Meyiwa was adamant that Kelly did not murder the soccer star, but she is aware who committed the murder.

Meyiwa was shot and killed in Vosloorus during an alleged armed robbery at the home of his girlfriend, actress and singer Kelly Khumalo. He was pronounced dead after arriving in hospital. The intruders apparently stormed into Kelly's home in a hit robbery and demanded a cellphone, money, and other valuables.

New details have emerged that indicate his assassination was a contract hit rather than a robbery gone wrong. Senzo's brother said the people who were at the house when his brother was shot, know the truth. "But they choose to hide it. We don't know whether they were threatened or what the case is, but the story that they gave us was cooked up," he said.

He said they know who killed his brother and the police know too. "We know who pulled the trigger. Police know it too but for some reason they wont arrest the person," he said

It still remains unclear who hired the hitman and his crew to kill Meyiwa. According to his brother, Senzo was accidentally shot but his those who were at the crime scene when the murder was committed, are hiding the truth from them.

According to several reports, Fisokuhle Ntuli, was one of the hitman hired to kill Senzo Meyiwa. He was arrested along with four other suspects last year, and they each face several charges, including murder, attempted murder, and robbery with aggravating circumstances. Police believe they have an airtight case, and the new evidence will give them the opportunity to end the investigation for good.
