When Yanga Sobetwa clinched that winners title on Idols season 14, many were excited and proud of her because she had a promising future in the music industry.

Idols winners normally walk away with amazing prizes; including a car, money, clothing vouchers and a record deal. But there were rife allegations of Yanga not having being paid to date.

When entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela posted an unsettling tweet on his timeline, where he stated that Yanga had not been paid her million rand cash prize, Tweeps were shock!

However, speaking to Daily Sun, Yanga rubbished these claims that have since caused mayhem on social media.

"The money issue has been resolved and there’s no need for people to share that tweet," she told the publication.
