Zenande Mfenyana is one of the most hated ZAlebs. The Queen actress has been labelled everything from the “meanest” ZAlebs the public knows to the “worst” ZAlebs that fans can think of. Therefore, it came as no surprise when she took to Twitter to vent about how she is not liked, that after the initial feelings of empathy shared in her comments, it was not long after that the real trolls came out to play.

Zenande Mfenyana melts down on Twitter
Seeing as it was a quiet day on Twitter with loadshedding and Musa Khawula taking a break from delivery sgaxas on the timeline. Zenande decided that it was the perfect time to throw a pity-party on Twitter. Taking to her timeline she shared how she has gotten used to being hated. So much so that she believes that she cannot receive love anymore.
Initial responses to the tweet were from “good-hearted” tweeps, who commented with words of encouragement. Even Khaya Mthethwa took to the comments section to spread some love. Mthethwa himself is no stranger to scandal on the Twitter streets from his alleged philandering ways, his divorce and subsequent allegations of playing for the other team. His words of support must come from a pure place.
Trolls then give Zenande a “reality check”
While there were words of encouragement which were shared to try and uplift Zenande Mfenyana spirits after her alarming tweet. It seems that other tweeps said f**k mental health and being kind to others, we’ll tell her the truth. This is as tweeps shared that she might be hated because of the manner in which she treated people.
It seems that the backlash and how many people were giving it to her in the comments section, she decided to delete her tweets. Maybe the truth got too much for her as she initially attempted to rebuke their sentiments. But more and more tweeps came out to corroborate the fact that Mfenyana is not the nicest people or ZAlebs to meet.
Since we cannot share the comments and replies because she deleted her tweets… What we can do is look back at past tweets which continue to emphasise why she did not get the response she wanted. From blocking other tweeps who shared their stories in her comments section.
But others recent posts literally still share experiences of how Mfenyana has treated them in the past. From rude tweets, interactions in public to using the fact that she was on two of the biggest soapies in South Africa. Tweeps were only too glad to share their unpleasant experiences with one of the consensually agreed upon worst ZAlebs in the country.
While it is all fun and games, Mfenyana is still human. Therefore, we do hope that despite the public dislike she has earned that she is fine and does not result to suicide as an answer. The industry has lost one too many artists this year due to mental health issues for her to go through the same experience when in it could have been prevented.
