It's been 10 years since she made her TV debut and she has become a household name with a legion of fans. The actress landed her big break in the industry when she starred on SABC 1's popular soapie Generations as Noluntu. She left the show in 2014, after the show's producer fired 16 actors including her, following a wage dispute.

Zenande
says she enjoyed playing her role and she is grateful for the big break as she is still relevant in the industry. "Today marks exactly 10 years since I made my tv debut, I played the role of Noluntu on Generations. I loved playing this character, and today I’m so grateful that I am still a working actress in this country, to God be the glory," she wrote.

After being axed on Generations, the actress joined Ashes To Ashes on eTV but the show was later not renewed for a new season. Zenande starred as Reba on the soap opera, alongside Tina Jaxa and Menzi Ngubane.

The show was canned to accommodate a new upcoming show on its slot. “We are pleased with the success of Ashes to Ashes and humbled by the loyal following that the telenovela enjoyed over its two-season run. Part of our strategy is to ensure that we keep the 8pm slot fresh‚ with gripping‚ authentic local content that resonates across South Africa. As a result‚ we will be saying goodbye to Ashes to Ashes and introducing a new telenovela‚ which will debut on Monday 5 September at 8pm” e.tv’s Managing Director Marlon Davids said in the statement.

She then showed off her acting chops on other productions including Mzansi Magic's, The Queen. She recently paid tribute to The Fergusons for hiring her in their productions.

"The first time I met the power couple that is Mam’Connie & Mr Sho was in 2013 at an end of year function, I sat on the same table as them, and I thought to myself, they don’t know me yet, but one day I will work with them," she began her thread.

Speaking about the time she got pregnant, she said they were very happy for her an they even gave her a 5 months paid maternity leave. "And when I told them I was expecting a bundle of joy, they were so overjoyed  and they told me they would make sure it gets written into the storyline. They embraced my pregnancy to the point of giving me a changing room closer to set so that I don’t strain myself.

Congratulations Zenande.
