Her retirement might've come sooner than we would've expected but Zodwa thinks that retiring early to pursue other business ventures is the best decision for her.
Now we're not sure how serious she is about her retiring from the entertainment business but this early retirement clearly shows that Zodwa has made enough money from the industry and it is now time to move on to the next opportunity that presents itself to her.
Zodwa made the announcement earlier this morning on her Instagram account, mentioning that she wants to ride the Zodwa wave whilst its still hot then bow out with a bang.
Ungikhulisile Tira, will retire 2019 January from being an Entertainer😊 angifuni ukuphupha bese ngiyafoster after. I was blessed by God,it wasn't Planned. Plan ahead, plan your moves, calculate get your shit in order & be happy. Bow out like a Hustler to other Businesses. More to Business👏🙏 We have 13 Months to be Crazy #Zodwa Wabantu Entertainer till 2019 January🎶🎶🎶💃💃💃🌍 Umhlaba wonke
However, considering how much Zodwa makes per club appearance, it's quite difficult to believe that she's going to let all of that go, but then again, considering all these club appearances she'll be making from now until January 2019, Zodwa will be laughing all the way to the bank and making some serious lucrative investments.
What are your thoughts on Zodwa's early resignation announcement?
