Exclusive: Lungisa Xhamele Speaks On His New Single And Music Video

The hearthrob recently released visuals for his hit song Yiza Sambe.

Talented afro-pop musician Lungisa Xhamela who shot to fame on Mzansi's popular singing competition SA Idols, has released visuals for his hit song Yiza Sambe. Speaking to ZAlebs, the heartthrob said he is extremely excited, about the release of his music video.

His unique voice and charismatic personality have captured the hearts of many ordinary South Africans, and he continues working hard to carve out an impressive career in the music fraternity.

Lungisa's single has a hint of amapiaono influence but it remains soulful. The muso featured, Manu Worldstar and Mzansi's famous duo Mr Luu and Msk. He said working with the trio was an incredible experience.

"It is the best video I have done so I'm excited that my fans will finally get to see it, I wanted a dance song because my album is soulful and RnB, so I wanted something that would give me vibe where I can think of the ocean and a baecation and the song itself emulated that"

Lungisa said during this lockdown period, he is busy with his soulful quarantine live performances, where he keeps his legions of fans entertained on his social media platforms, because he recently released his album.

The musician who made it to the Top 8 of SA idols said, the platform really shaped his career as he is now signed under Gallo Record Label and he has released several hits.

Lungisa recently lost his friend Thami Shobede speaking about his loss he said "It was a very unexpected time for it to happen, it was tough to find out that he has passed on randomly, honestly, I don't have any words, I haven't had any words. I think the only thing he would have wanted was for me to carry on with the legacy and producing great music."
