Azania Mosaka is one of the earliest incarnations of the it-girl archetype in South Africa - which is probably why she has enjoyed such longevity in the business.
The business woman and 702 host, who is also currently standing in for Anele Mdoda on SABC 3's Real Talk turns 41 today and we came across this great piece of advice on her account.
Mosaka is known for rocking this hairstyle and as such, she often gets asked a number of questions about it. This prompted her to share a step-by-step guide of how to achieve the look.
As the co-owner of Ms. Salon London alongside Ego Iwegbu and Linda Jangulo, Mosaka knows all about hair care. Check out her step by step guide on how to achieve the look above using Darling's expression hairpiece:
1 | First rule is to nourish and show love to your hair. ALWAYS!
2 | Then, braid your hair halfway or just past the length of your hair...
3 | Curl the braids with perm rollers as far down as you can.
"This is where most attempts go wrong. And where the pain potentially comes in" begins Mosaka, before adding, "dip the curled hair in boiled water one roller at a time. Be careful. Sit under the dryer for about 15 -20mins."
4 | Take out the rollers and trip if you need to... and voíla!
Mosaka adds that she hopes to never have to answer questions about this again but you can go to one of their many Ms. Salon London locations for all your nail, makeup, waxing, threading and lashes needs.
