Lady Zamar has received a lot of positive attention ever since she released her debut album. She also has unfortunately received a lot of unwanted attention from the public as well, especially when it comes to her sense of style.

In May, we saw the singer get dragged across social media during her performance at the 2018 Miss SA beauty pageant.

What was supposed to be a memorable experience for her turned out to be a nightmare after many South Africans shared how they very much disliked the outfits she wore at events and even requested that she change her stylist.

After the Miss SA jumpsuit uproar, Lady Zamar's record label suggested that she change designers which she did and looking from afar, her sense of style when making public appearances improved.

During a Metro FM interview in July, the singer disclosed that she had decided to pull back on launching her own clothing line after she was trolled for her Miss SA outfit.

The negative comments about her sense of style came to light again after she posted pictures of herself in a blonde wig, blue leggings and red socks. While some people liked the look others were not too convinced.

Lady Zamar then went onto YFM to address the style comments for the last time and asked people to stop dragging her for what she wears, especially when she's at home.

"First of all, people need to stop dragging me for what I wear. Like, I am not going to dress the way you want me to. When it comes to performances, we will give them what they want. When it comes to public appearances, I will give you what you want. When I'm at home, doing my thing, it's not your place, " she said during the YFM interview.
