Over the years, Khuli Chana has undergone a quiet afro-futurist evolution - both in terms of his thinking and his style. Because the change hasn't been as out there, and in-your-face as most artist rebrands, it hasn't quite gotten the attention it deserves.
When we were first introduced to the rapper, either as a member of Morafe or when he went solo and his career blew up, his style was nothing to write home about. It was your run of the mill, "I'm a rapper but I'm not trying too hard," look - which often featured t-shirts, paired with jeans and the occasional cool jacket.
Two things the rapper has always been fond of, however, are hats and graphic prints.
Looking back at his style, there isn't a definitive moment where he became what we have come to know as "One Source Khuli" - daring, bold, bright and slightly different.
Khuli has slowly been introducing new elements to his style in such a way that we didn't feel as though we just woke up one day and we had a new Khuli. Check out this gallery of Khuli's style which is matched by his partner, Asanda Maku, and let us know what you think:
