We love it when our local celebrities embrace their bodies. It is pretty refreshing. Since Samkelo gave birth to her baby, she has been vocal about a lot of issues that affect women in the entertainment industry.
In an interview on Afternoon Express, the actress shared her #MeToo story for the first time, the starlet opened up about being sexually harassed by a famous director when she was breaking into the industry, "It really only happened to me once and it's not something that I have shed light on or wanted the spotlight to be on me about because I just really wanted people to know me for my work, this whole casting couch thing where 'if you want this role, wink, wink'. I must have been 21. It must have been back during Generations, Zone 14 times and he is a well-known director right now. I was in danger because we were alone in the room but my reflexes were better than his," she explained.
