Coronavirus changing everybody's plans

The Hennesy Back To The City Festival is the latest event around Mzansi to have to reschedule its plans, following President Cyril Ramaphosa'sHennessy Back to the City International Hip Hop Festival large gathering prohibitions due to the coronavirus.

On Friday organizers of the Hennesy Back To The City International Festival announced the decision to reschedule the annual gathering due to the COVID-19.

"Ritual Media Group takes the situation very seriously and remains committed to safeguarding the health and safety of our festival patrons, staff, artists and community," organizers said in a statement.


The festival has now been rescheduled to October 10, 2020.

The 14th Annual Hennessy Back To The City was initially meant to be held on Freedom Day, April 27, 2020.

The annual festival that celebrates everything hip-hop, from the music to fashion will be coming to an end in 2021.
