Yesterday, the Cape Town Magistrate Court ruled in favor of Katlego, following allegations of alleged misconduct made by Muller in 2021.
In a series of Instagram stories, Muller reacted to the court's judgment and shared her perspective. “To set the record straight: As per agreement between the parties there has been NO NEW acts of domestic violence since the application of the IPO.
“This is the correct outcome as per court ruling," she wrote.
Monique said she is no longer gagged from speaking up and won't allow "these false narratives to continue."
She also spoke about how people are lying about the verdict and said she will only be posting the facts. "I actually find it appalling that these people continue to lie on such a public platform when the official documents say something completely different. People have already put their careers on the line supporting these lies and they keep acting unethically. No worries I won't be making any statements. I'll only be posting the facts," she said.
She also revealed that she had filed a complaint against Katlego's lawyer Ellen Ellen Louis, accusing her of harassment, defamation, malpractice and intimidation. This follows after she accused her of lying. Muller revealed that Ellen was found guilty of misconduct and said “she was acting on instruction.”
Furthermore, Muller claimed to have been allegedly harrassed by Katlego and a police officer. She claimed to have lodged a misconduct complaint against the officer who received a written warning.
She also slammed one of Katlego's fans who accused her of being a bitter ex. “I am bitter because I was abused? I am bitter because I am tired of the lies? I am bitter because I want the harassment to stop? I am bitter for responding with the truth?”
Katlego welcomed the court's ruling yesterday and heaved a huge sigh of relief after the Magistrate’s Court absolved him of the allegations.
"The most important thing to me is the wellbeing of my son, and fortunately things have settled into a routine for him after being put through such a terrible and lengthy process. I am so grateful to my friends and family, and my incredible team for their ongoing support, and to the justice system for ruling in favour of the truth. I may never know or understand the real motive behind all of this destruction and heartache, but right now, I just want to focus on putting the pieces of my life back together,” said Maboe.

The court agreed with the submission of a Point in Limine from Mr. Maboe’s legal team, ruling that there were no grounds for obtaining the protection order. Furthermore, the court has not made a finding of acts of domestic violence that were allegedly perpetrated against Ms. Muller, and as such, the matter has been dismissed.
