On what was a breath taking day with the sun shining and the mercury rising, IBIZA CALLING surprisingly raked in 5000 party-goers. Headlined by Space Ibiza’s resident DJ Danny Marquez, dance fans had the time of their lives to his progressive electronic style and signature “big room sounds”.
The 5FM team included the Big Dawg – DJ Fresh, Rob Vember, Stephanie B and the petite Ms Cosmo, all of whom delivered top-notch sets steeped with electric energy, but then again what would you expect from a power house line-up like that.
Celebrated as SA’s top youth brand, it’s no surprise that G&G Productions, the company behind the event got it so right by placing two stages in the parking area to give the night a street beach party feel plus another beautiful dance floor in the VIP area. The Bungalow was completely transformed with three dance floors and stunning décor.
Partnered by GUESS, all sun-kissed party-goers were ‘Sexy Without Question’ as they sipped chilled cocktails and watched the sun set over the horizon.
As the evening progressed with electronic dance beats and top technical production design, IBIZA CALLING was definitely the most stylish place to welcome in 2014. Local celebrity spotted there was the fabulous Mika Stefano who seemed to be having the time of his life
