Tributes and messages of condolences are pouring in following the unexpected death of legendary Namibian hip-hop artist Shilongo “Kanibal” Ashipala. According to The Namibian, the musician committed suicide and it is suspected that he passed away on Friday.
The National Police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi confirmed his passing to the paper. Kanibal was a prolific artist who enjoyed his shine before he retired as a musician to focus on being a music producer.

His decomposed body was found today at her mother's place today.
