Speaking to Mo Flava and Masechaba Ndlovu on The Drive on Metro FM, Lerato explained that in 2018 she was actually considering adopting a child.

"Last year, truth be told, I wanted to adopt. I've been chatting to my man about surrogacy, and we're having that conversation," she revealed.

It looks like this is an ongoing conversation and it might take some time for her partner to get used to the idea. Lerato described her man as a traditional guy. "The more we speak about it, I feel like he will be understanding because I'd love to be like a real mother."

Surrogacy has been an option for quite a number of celebrities, including Giuliana Rancic, Kim Kardashian and Gabrielle Union. Gabrielle, who's married to basketball player, Dwayne Wayde, received nothing but love after announcing the birth of her first child via surrogate.

The 46-year-old has been very vocal about her fertility struggles, even going as far as revealing that she's had about eight miscarriages.

Gabrielle wrote:

"For lots of people/families who have been on their own unique fertility/family creation journey, hope can feel like a cruel joke that plays on repeat. You stop letting yourself get excited and you dont dare utter any updates. You carry it all. It can feel isolating and depressing. You wonder if you are defective. You are not. You wonder if you are worthy. You are. You feel you feel you feeeeeel. You are not alone. You are not alone. You are loved and worthy and every feeling is real and understood."
