The power truly lies with the audience, and according to the latest TV ratings - they sure do love watching #Mnakwethu.
The ratings for January 2020 have been released, and the much criticised reality show, Mnakwethu is surprisingly (or not?) leading the pack, ahead of the much loved, KwaMaMkhize.
According to the numbers, Mnakwethu is sitting at 597,290 viewership, whilst KwaMaMkhize comes through at 459, 940, as reported by Generations:The Legacy .
Mnakwethu is premised around assisting men - who wish to take a second wife - under the guidance of popular polygamist, Musa Mseleku.

Other shows that are doing relatively well include Grassroots and For better or Worse. The latter has garnered a total of 451,203 and the former sits at, 417, 327.
The article also stated that, The Queen is sitting pretty at the 1 number spot on DSTV, with a total viewership of, 1,226.297.
The SABCratings for January also came in. The producers and writers of Uzalo have clearly stuck to their winning formula, because the popular soapie is still Mzansi's most watched soapie, with a staggering 9,308,207, viewership, followed by Generations: The Legacy at, 7,993,895.
