The push to bring netball into secondary schools across Lagos State has accelerated after a three-day Train-the-Trainer coaching clinic wrapped up at Rowe Park Sports Centre in Yaba. The session was designed to ensure teachers leave with the know-how to introduce and sustain the sport at the grassroots level.
The programme was arranged by the Lagos State branch of the Association of Former Female Athletes of Nigeria (LAGAFFAN), working together with the Lagos State Sports Commission via the Lagos State Netball Association.

Organisers framed the initiative as a key move to widen sports involvement among students, while also helping create a route for spotting and developing netball talent.
