In a statement released on Friday on behalf of the OTO Team, spokesperson Oredipe said Vice President Kashim Shettima’s renewed endorsement reflects what he described as the politician’s loyalty, proven ability, deep political experience, and steadfast commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda championed by the Tinubu administration.
Oredipe argued that Shettima continues to stand as one of the strongest figures within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and said his qualities would help improve the party’s chances ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said Shettima has consistently shown “exceptional loyalty, competence, political depth, and commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda,” adding that the vice president’s candidacy represents a major pillar for the APC as it prepares for the 2027 vote. Oredipe also described Shettima’s record of experience, humility, intellectual strength, personal courage, and connection to grassroots communities as reasons the vice president remains valuable to both the ruling party and the country.
The statement further framed Shettima as an effective link between the achievements of the current administration and the hopes of Nigerians—particularly younger people. Oredipe said that, at a moment when the energy, creativity and aspirations of young Nigerians need to be fully harnessed for national progress, Shettima stands out as a figure capable of resonating with that demographic.
He pointed to what he called Shettima’s clarity of thinking, accessibility, eloquence, and demonstrated capacity for public service, describing him as a dependable partner to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and a credible symbol of continuity, stability, and renewed national advancement.
Oredipe expressed confidence that the Tinubu–Shettima ticket would strengthen the APC’s electoral prospects and provide a foundation for building on the achievements already recorded by the current administration. He said the ticket offers what the OTO Team views as the surest route to consolidating existing gains and delivering victory for the APC in 2027.
He added that with Shettima on the ticket, the party would be better placed to mobilize wide-ranging support, bolster confidence among voters, and secure a decisive mandate at the polls. Oredipe also reiterated the OTO Team’s commitment to the APC and pledged to campaign for President Tinubu, Vice President Shettima, and the party as the 2027 election approaches.
