Congratulations are in order for Gqom' Barbie after a breathtaking proposal by her bae in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
TDK Macassette, whose real name is Thandeka Mkhwanazi, keeps a low profile where her personal life is concerned, but any girl would want to share the exciting news of her engagement, especially one so romantic.
The Domoroza hitmaker took to Instagram with snaps of herself showing off her engagement ring while seated next to her fiancé, YBK Vision (a rapper and businessman many will remember from the show Vuzu Rich Kids). In the background is a huge fish display with a diver holding a card which reads "Please be my wife," the other card reads "Thandeka, I love you with all my life".
The gqom musician and dancer captioned the snaps, " I said yes".
In November 2019, TDK and YBK (real name Liberty Mike Mhlanga) sparked engagement rumours when the gqom star was spotted with a big rock on her wedding ring finger. However, when asked for a comment, she rubbished the rumours, claiming that the ring was a 'stop nonsense' and that her love life was dry.
She may have not been engaged at the time, but as for "dry love life"? We highly doubt that.
