The Elektra Comfort plug-in hot water bottle means no more boiling the kettle, writes Sasha Wyatt-Minter.
This nifty little hot water bottle comes with a soft cover and charger. It seems to be filled with a type of gel instead of water. And 15 minutes' charging time is all it needs to keep you or your bed warm for up to five hours!
It's cordless and rechargeable and the safe-heat system means it's safe for children to plug in and heat. (It's also the latest craze at schools and my daughter's teacher has a bottle or two charging in her classroom every morning!)
You can find it at Dis-Chem for R69,99.
It gives off great heat - almost instantly - and at this price it's an inexpensive way to keep warm this winter.
