It is an emotional time for TGOM fans as she will finally close the curtain to her much-loved character today.

Mzansi has sent heart-warming messages to the multi-talented Actress Rami Chuene who is set to film her last scenes on Mzansi's hit soapie The Queen this week. Today the slate will finally clap for the last time to her character as she bows out.

Today she tweeted "Stepping out, heading to #TheQueenMzansi set for the last time today. What a riot. Now let me go burn that MF down with a kickass performance! For the culture, for control, for the love.''

Rami set tongues wagging last month after announcing her departure from the soapie and refuted to comment on circumstances surrounding her exit.

Rami portrayed the conniving and ruthless character known as Gracious "T Gom" Mabuza. She captured the hearts of many with her unique acting prowess.

Speculation was rife that her unceremonious sacking from The Queen was as a result of her public support for Vatiswa Ndara who accused local production houses, particularly Ferguson Films, of exploiting actors and poor working conditions.

Ndara wrote a six-page open letter to Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa, calling for transparency in the entertainment industry.TGOM fans have wished her well on her future endeavors and some emotions of her exit ran high.

It has not yet been confirmed when her last appearance will be, but she is currently appearing on the show
