AKA and Nadia Nakai is the newest celebrity couple and they are flaunting their love every chance they get. The couple who nobody expected to be a thing, recently went all lovey-dovey during a performance, and the crowd went berserk.

The previously unlikely couple - we say unlikely because Nadia Nakai used to be mentored by AKA's rival Cassper Nyovest and the two still to this day do not get along - recorded themselves getting cosy in front a crowd.

They confirmed their relationship earlier this month and as expected, there were mixed reactions from people.

A clip of the two of them getting cosy and kissing on stage saw people commending AKA for loving his woman out loudly and not shying away from showing affection.

The couple saw Ntsiki Mazwai putting them on blast especially because it hasn't been a year since Anele Tembe lost her life.

“At the funeral, Nelli’s siblings had to walk BEHIND the Forbes family. Barely six months had passed and how quickly their little sister was replaced…After they couldn’t walk beside her coffin. This is so deeply disturbing for me.”

Ntsiki even pointed out that her father Moses Tembe said Anele was not suicidal so she said one day the family will have to explain what was meant by that.

In an interview, AKA said he would never abuse Anele, “...But I know that what I am not is an abuser. I am not someone who would abuse Anele, I treated her like gold. She was my everything and still remains my everything. I would wake up every single day thinking how happy could I make this person.

When she says “you don’t know what he’s doing to me,” I cannot speak to that. Because she’s not here. I can only wonder what she was talking about But what I do know is that I loved her and I did everything I could to take care of her.”

After the incident, AKA vowed to never be the same person he once was, “4 months to this day. … it never goes away. Every day I pray for her, myself and our families. I will never be the same person I was … but I will do the best I can with the gift and opportunity of life that I still have left. Thank You to everyone who has stuck by me and our respective families … you know who you are.”

AKA even lost out on a lot of gigs because of this and one of them was The Braai Show. He got replaced by Cassper Nyovest and he recently revealed that Riky Rick got offered the job but he turned it down out of respect for the grieving rapper.

"2021 I was looking like steak, vultures all around me they said my best days were behind me. If you kick me when I'm down, pray that I don't get up to see another day."

“Shoutout to Makhado, principles, morals. They said come and host the Braai Show, he said NO WAYS!!! That’s more than I can say for your fave,” he said directing that at Cassper.

He then took another jab at Cassper, his nemesis, “He doesn’t have the stamina to run with the comrade,” said AKA in his lyrics.
