Sha Sha seems to be in her “mysterious girl” era. This is as she teased a now contested engagement ring just last week. As reported at the time:

“Taking to her social media on Friday, 9 December 2022, the Woza hitmaker shared an image of her hand with a diamond ring sitting pretty on her wedding finger.

The post did not share any other details. The biggest of which would have been who is the man who put the ring on her finger. This is as for the most part, most of Sha Sha’s fan base is one she has created due to her musical pursuits with details about her private life being something she has consciously kept private.

As such, no details as to who the mystery man is. Possibly, the only time we might actually find out the identity of the mystery man is when Sha Sha shares her wedding pictures. This is only if she decides to share images from her matrimonials.

On Instagram, Sha Sha enjoyed congratulatory messages from her peers. This is as the likes of Kamo Mphela, Bontle Smith and continuous collaborator and friend, Ami Faku, all flooded her comments section with congratulatory messages.”

But following her most recent post, her fans are split between saying, “congratulations,” or, “when is the music video being released?”

Is Sha Sha married?

Following her “engagement ring”post, Sha Sha returned to social media to post herself in what can be assumed to be a wedding dress. Considering that the post comes off the back of the engagement, many of her fans were confused.
On the one hand, there were those that assumed that Sha Sha is married and used the comments section of the posts to congratulate her.
But there were those fans that found the timeline too convenient for Sha Sha to have been confirming that she is married. As such, those believed that this was the beginning of the promotional run for her upcoming single from her recently released album, I’m Alive.

Currently, one of the fan-favourite tracks from the album is the Amapiano ballad Ungo Wami. Given that the track speaks to Sha Sha asserting that she believes she has found the one. Moreover, as the track has yet to be released as a stand-alone single, fans that do not want to believe that Sha Sha might officially be off the market, believe that the current social media roll out is for the music video and single.
This would not be the first time that a musician has used a “fake marriage” to promote their music. One of the most recent examples is that of arguably disgraced singer-songwriter, Lady Zamar.

During what is now the height of her career when she released the album Monarch, for the single, More and More, she had used her relationship with model Faustino Muhongo to make the public believe they were getting married. So who knows, maybe Sha Sha is also doing the same in this instance to drum up anticipation for the visuals for her upcoming single.
