They may not be an item anymore but they made us believe in love and gave us one of the best weddings we've seen in years. Their white wedding took place on the 16th of September.
On their third wedding anniversary, Minnie said she knew Quinton was the one as he embodied his father's best qualities.
"About this time 3years ago I married the father of my future children. I knew Quinton was the one as he embodied all my dad's best qualities. I had the biggest crush on him, I knew I wanted his babies lol.
She described her wedding day as surreal.
"It was raining like it is today in Cape Town and as I walked down the aisle, a ray of sunshine lit up my wedding like the perfect summer's day and a beautiful rainbow appeared and framed us at the alter.
She expressed gratitude for her husband and family.
"The symbol of God's promise, even in the darkest times He ALWAYS shows up for me. I thank Him for my life, my husband, my family, and our new miracle
Happy Anniversary my love," she posted.
According to some reports, Minnie and Quinton solo the coverage rights to their wedding for six million.
Speaking to Anele Mdoda on Real Talk in 2018, Minnie denied getting paid six million for her wedding.
"It definitely wasn't six million rands and I didn't get paid six million to do it.
"Someone just woke up one day and decided to just write it down. People just love to give me millions. I just wish it would come in real life."
She and Anele also went into more details about the surreal experience at her wedding where it was heavily raining and it suddenly stopped when she stepped out of the car and a rainbow appeared.
"It had rained a few minutes before I walked down the aisle. It was slippery. My veil was actually sticking to the ground after my dress. Every time I walked it was pulling me back and falling off.
"The most amazing thing about it is I was literally in the car before I walked down the aisle. When I walked out of the car the rain stopped. The clouds cleared, the sun came out and you saw a rainbow," she shared.
Her traditional wedding
Minnie's traditional wedding took place on the 8th of July 2017 in Green Hills, Durban North.
Minne and Quinto announced their divorce this week through an official statement.
"In the last 2 years, our family has experienced incredible joy and devastating loss. During this time, we found comfort in knowing we had each other.
"Despite our better efforts to absorb the changes in motion, the emotional burden and the post-traumatic distress of our individual loss outweighed our will. After months of separation and consultations with our family and a counselor, we have taken the decision to officially file for divorce.
"Despite the end of our marriage and romantic relationship, we remain friends, business partners, and loving parents to our beautiful son. This was difficult to come to and even more heart-breaking to have to announce. In the wake of this news, we ask that you please grant us privacy during this difficult time."
