“Everest. The mountain is calling, and I must go”.
Mother of the late Kiernan Jarryd Forbes has shared her plans to climb Mt. Everest. Using her son's song as a soundtrack, she took to her Instagram stories to share how eager she is to trek the mountain which takes about 10-14 days to climb.
She previously climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro which takes less days to climb.
Late son's girlfriend, Nadia Nakai and she made this known in a heartfelt letter. The distraught mother who had to watch footage of her son getting killed in cold blood, finds comfort in knowing that Kiernan Jarryd Forbes died while being surrounded with love. A huge chunk of that love came from Bragga and the entire nation saw that.
Taking to social media, Lynn, also known as Glammy, penned a sweet message to Nadia Nakai, thanking her for showing her son love and mostly respect.
Kiernan died in the most brutal way in full view of not only his close friends, but in the busy street of Florida road, Durban. The CCTV footage sent chills down everyone's spine, whether you were a fan of Supa Mega or not.
Lynn Forbes showed love to all the people who were in AKA's life including his friends who were put in the firing line by social media users, his baby mama DJ Zinhle and girlfriend Nadia Nakai.
Lynn named her post, "Love and Respect" before proceeding to say, "Love is not a reason to tolerate disrespect."
Lynn then thanked Nadia for all she did for AKA, "Nadia Nakai I am forever indebted to you for the way you love and respect my son to this day.
You showed him what real love and respect is and you brought out the absolute best in him.
"Kiernan was born with love, raised in love, gave love to so many and all he wanted in return was to be loved and respected in the same way. You gave that to him and he died surrounded by love. Thank you."
Glammy then shared a quote from Sylvester McNutt who speaks of true love, “I don’t think most people understand what true love is. It’s not the cheesy “couple goals” posts for Instagram. It’s not the fancy dates, the happy hours, or the majestic nights laughing at silly movies.
"True love is waking up in the middle of the night to help you when you’re sick because I don’t want you to be sick alone. It’s being your shoulder to cry on, to vent to. True love is being your biggest cheerleader and toughest critic. True love is looking at each other on a spiritual level, a level so deep, that you can feel them when they’re gone. True love is six little words, “no matter what, I got you.”
