Initially, when she first created the Instagram page for the business it was believed that this was a daycare centre given the name of the business venture. As reported:
In the world of ZAlebs, there have been business ideas toward which many of our ZAlebs have gravitated towards. Specifically, alcohol, makeup and fashion, and accessories have been the go-to. This includes the likes of House of BNG, Billiato, Era by DJ Zinhle, LuvDR.
Therefore, Ntando Duma has aimed to be different with her latest upcoming business venture. This is as she has teased that her daycare centre is imminent. The daycare centre is set to be named after her daughter, Sbahle, with the tagline, “Siyakhulisa,” translating to, “we are nurturing growth.”
It is unclear at the moment just exactly when the daycare is set to open. This is as the Instagram page was created over a year ago. However, since the initial post, no word has been shared except the reminder through her Instagram stories.
However, as the opening for the business is now underway after a year of planning, Ntando has finally shared the details on the business. And no, it is not a daycare centre. However, it is a children inspired venture by the ZAlebs and her daughter and namesake of the business, Sbahle Mzizi.
Ntando Durma hiring for her first kiddies salon
Recently taking to Instagram, Ntando Duma finally revealed that Sbahle Siyakhulisa is not a daycare as initially thought. Instead, it is a kiddies hair salon which was inspired by her daughter Sbahle Mzizi. This is shared through the description of the business stating, “A children’s beauty and hair salon situated in the heart of Johannesburg by Mother & Daughter Sbahle Mzizi & Ntando Duma.”
Moreover, Ntando confirmed that they are currently hiring as she took to her timeline to share the inspiration and introduction to her new business venture by writing:
“I’m so ECSTATIC and PROUD to announce the opening of my first kiddies salon. My dream of so many years finally becomes a reality. Named and inspired by its namesake, my precious daughter Sbahle Lisakhanya Mzizi and on a mission to provide niche and bespoke hairdressing services to tiny tots and young people.”
The hiring post did not share what exactly the salon is looking for currently. But it can be assumed that it will be looking for hairstylists with a focus on children’s hair, a receptionist and possibly nail technicians who are willing to work on children’s fingernails and toenails.
