Ntsiki Mazwai's stint on national television was shortlived, but one would have thought that the platform would go on to do great things for her career. As it turns out, however, the poet is convinced that her Moja Love gig didn't do much for her career.

If there's one thing you're guaranteed when it comes to Ntsiki Mazwai, it's that she's going to give you a full, unfiltered perspective of whatever she is thinking. If Zodwa Wabantu is the queen of uncensored content, then Ntsiki is the mother of unfiltered speech. So it came as no surprise that when the time came to talk about her stint on Moja Love, she gave us a full no-holds-barred opinion.

Those of you with sharp memories will recall that Ntsiki made her television presenting debut as a host on Moja Love's talkshow, Show Me Love where she served a full season. Things didn't quite work out for the long term however and it was reported after season 1 ended that the poet's contract would not be renewed.

Speaking about her time as an employee of one of Mzansi's most controversial TV channels, Ntsiki admitted that the channel did "nothing" for her, claiming that her loyal followers were "stressed" by how restricted her content was. Ntsiki was responding to a field of criticism where tweeps had described her time at the channel as a fail and she hit back by saying,

"Actually moja love did nothing for me to be honest. And it used to stress my audience that I wasn't free to speak. The minute I stopped at moja love suddenly everybody was paying attention to me and making me trend every 3 days. Let's be honest."

Nobody bothered to argue with the ex-presenter but she does make a valid point; she has been trending non-stop since her stint at Moja Love ended.

What do you think of Ntsiki's claim that the popular channel did nothing for her career?
