Quiteria and George (the brand) would have been 10-years-old this year and had firmly established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the South African fashion and entertainment industries. Along with the high profile Beyonce gig, the brand had been worn by some of the biggest names in South African and indeed African fashion in its decade-long run and was on its way to becoming a legacy brand in Africa.
So how did it all go wrong?

According to a report in last week's Independent Online, the duo were booked to perform at African Fashion Week Cape Town before cancelling their showcase at the last minute with little-to-no explanation: adding further fuel to the speculative fire.
As far as we can tell, the last time we saw them showcasing together was in April at the Huawei P30 launch.

As it currently stands, we can't even find the Quiteria and George social media account on social media anymore. In the meantime, there has been no explanation as to what could have possibly happened.
