Somizi could not resist teaching Taraji P Henson, who plays Cookie Lyon on Empire, his trademark phrase, "ooh shem", at a dinner party on Tuesday night.
The Idols SA judge played host to Taraji P Henson and her co-star Terrence Howard, aka Lucious Lyon, at a dinner in their honour in Johannesburg.
The Empire stars seemed to have had an amazing time, and happily posed for countless selfies with guests.
The actors were presented with several South African-themed gifts during the dinner.
And of course, Somizi could not let Taraji leave without teaching her a popular local phrase.
