Metro FM presenter T-BO Touch and his Touch Down drive team have been temporarily dismissed by Metro FM management after their rather steamy sex interview with sex educator Jade Zwane.
Zwane who is also the author of the erotic novel aDICKted began speaking about the importance of masturbation and why parents should start informing their children about sex at an early age, as early as 10 years old.
It’s been reported that T-BO Touch and sports reader Joe Mann received SMSes from station manager, Caren Olsen who urged them to cut short the interview.
Zwane spoke to The Times and denied that the interview was immodest.
Zwane: “I explained [to liseners] how my talk with my parents from puberty encouraged me to wait. I didn’t feel like I needed to rush into it because I had read books about it, and my mom took me to a gynie before my first sexual experience, which was at 23 years.”
Metro FM spokesman, Happy Ngidi assured the public that the Touch Down team was not suspended but will be off work until “internal processes” have been dealt with accordingly
DJ Sbu will be hosting the show until further notice.
